Dr. Meyer Zahler


Biography

Dr. Meyer grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In 2013, he earned his D.M.D. degree from Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Chandler, Arizona. He pursued his general practice residency training at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. While being exposed to many different aspects of dentistry, he found a true passion for treating children and patients with special needs. He then decided to complete a one year fellowship at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, caring for patients with disabilities and special needs. He received extensive training and successfully treated many patients using IV sedation or in the operating room. He then decided to obtain his pediatric dentistry degree at Stony Brook where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Meyer is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the New York State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. When he isn’t at work, Dr. Meyer enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid sports fan, especially passionate about his hometown Toronto teams.
